How to set goals

The best way to set goals is to use the SMART Goal setting framework. SMART is an acronym that stands for Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Time-bound.

  3. Achievable: The goal should be realistic and achievable. It shouldn’t be too ambitious or too small.

  5. Time-bound: The goal should have a deadline so that you can measure progress and keep employees accountable.
