For example, “You have done a great job in setting a SMART goal. However, I think you can be more realistic about the time frame. How about extending it by two weeks?”
  5. Facilitating action that is aligned with the goal, realistic, and achievable. For example, helping your team member break down their goal into smaller steps, identify potential obstacles and solutions, and monitor their progress. For example, “What are the first three actions that you need to take to achieve your goal? How will you overcome the challenges that you might face? How will you track your results?”
